~ Detox Diet ~
A good detox diet will help rid you of toxins. The affects of this diet will cause the liver to flush itself and the intestines to release the casings around its lumen. The diet will be easy to digest and often nutritional supplements will be used to cause further cleansing.
Meats and cooked foods are avoided during the detox diet. No alcohol, medications, or processed foods are consumed. Often enzymes and probiotics are added to replenish their supply.
Fruits can sometimes be used in the detox diet. They are natural detoxifiers. Lots of water is ingested as well to aid in the removal of toxins.
But beyond the detox diet, one needs to avoid the toxins in the first place. The vast majority of the foods eaten need to be true organic; devoid of herbicides, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, chemicals, dyes, and fillers. In other words, a diet needs to be clean. One should eat foods found in the local area in season.
