So you want to flatten your abs; your abdominal muscles.

The rectus abdominus, rectus obliques both internal and external. These are a lot of muscles you're talking about.

But here is a secret the abs people won't tell you...there are certain people predisposed to washboard type abs. Not eveyone can get them no matter how hard they try. It just won't work. No matter what your diet is and no matter how you work out. Forget about it.
