A rice diet is to be avoided because of the high amount of carbohydrate it has in it and the amount
of acid ash it produces after metabolism.
Rice is a carbohydrate. In the scheme of food combining becareful to mix proteins and carbohydrates
together.
Rice is a staple of many people. It does provide nourishment but the more processed it is the less
nutrients are available. Brown rice has been rumored to have been sprayed with a brown dye. True wild
rice is wild grass seed, and has much nutrient content.
Too long on a rice diet may be detrimental. Be careful. Rice is okay every once in awhile but certainly
not to have a diet built around it.
