~ Food ~ Food Pyramid ~


First of all the Food Pyramid was put together by special interest groups and the government. Does that tell you anything? What I'm getting at is that the Food Pyramid was not designed for your health. It was designed to promote certain groups of foods.

Remember the 4 Food Groups? It was put together by the Dairy Council and the Beef Industry and the U.S. government.

The evolution of the Food Pyramid is similar. Bread, cereal, rice, and pasta on the bottom; they're saying these foods should be most of your diet. You can't do this if you want a healthy diet! You're going to cause and inflammatory response in your body. You're also going to create an allergenic reaction if these grains are genetically modified...OUCH! They never told you this, did they?

Fruits are the next thing to add out of proportion. You can't eat this much fruit without getting a glucose response -- hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia. Too much sugar, even if it's fructose.

Bottom line -- stay clear from the U.S. designed Food Pyramid! It is not about your health.
